Barbara Rooch Obituary
Naples, FL
Our adored Barbara Rooch passed peacefully into eternal life and was surrounded in love by family Sunday afternoon, January 29th, 2017.
She was dearly loved and cherished by her mother Mary Jean Rooch, her family and many devoted friends. Her beloved father, Palmer Lakin Rooch preceded her in death, and she is survived by her eight siblings and their spouses: Mary Beth Hollerbach, Margaret and Frank Considine, Anne and Gordie Flowers, David Rooch, Jane Rooch, Therese and David Martin, Patty and Craig Snyder, Susan and TC Dolgin. As well as sixteen adoring nieces and nephews: David Hollerbach, Katie Hollerbach, Drew Hollerbach, Carrie Considine, Ali Flowers, Rachel Flowers, Peter Rooch, Tommy Rooch, Casey Martin, David Martin, Matthew Martin, Avery Snyder, Maisy Snyder, Paige Snyder, Cadence Dolgin and Jaco Dolgin.
Barbara was born in Birmingham, MI and attended the Harrington School of Design in Chicago; she went on to win many awards as an accomplished ASID interior designer. Barb loved her family and friends, the beach, entertaining, being active and living in service to others. She had a deep sense of faith and expressed feelings of gratitude for blessings daily. She never failed to find the beauty in everyday, and made everyday so much more beautiful to all people that came into her life. Barbara was a beautiful, giving, and generous soul whose wit was second to none. She will be deeply missed by all.
A service will be held Friday, February 3rd at Fuller Funeral Home: 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL, 34109.
Optional Confession will be held from 3:00-3:30, visitation 3:30-5:00, with mass beginning at 5:00.
The family requests any donations be made in Barb's name to The Ferrer Foundation, a charity close to her heart at: 914 West Hubbard suite 301, Chicago, IL, 60642 or to www.ferrerfoundation.org

To ~ Mary Jean (Barb's Mom & my Dear Cousin), Her Special Uncle John, and All Other Close Family and Friends of the Very Gifted Barbara Rooch ~as I've learned of your deeply sad loss after her long health battles! My caring thoughts and prayers are now for GOD'S PEACE to Always be with You and ~ for all Precious Memories to hold onto with smiles! ;-) I'm very thankful Barb is now in Eternal Peace with complete joy and "freedom at last" from all the health struggles she came through so amazingly!!! Her own light always shined like the candle on this message and still does!!! ;-) Alleluia!!! Amen!!!

I graduated with Barb and was so sad to hear of her passing. I remember her as a kind person that tried to find the positive in situations and people. She was a warm person with a vibrant smile and was genuinely caring of others. I am a better person for knowing Barb and wish her family and friends peace during this difficult time. We are lucky that she touched our lives!

Mrs Rooch, Jane, Susie and TC, I'm so sorry to hear of Barbie's passing. She was a wonderful person, kind, funny and generous with her time and talents.
