Carl I. Potter Obituary
Carl I. Potter, 80, of North Chelmsford, MA, passed peacefully from this life into his eternal reward in heaven, on Sunday, December 9, 2018 with his wife, Louise R. (Gebo) Potter and daughter, Angelica R. Potter at his bedside.

Born in Somerville, MA in 1938, Carl grew up on the Gardner Dairy Farm in Pepperell, MA. He joined the Army in 1958 serving as a peacekeeper in South Korea. Returning to the states, Mr. Potter then served 42 years in Civil Service retiring out of Ft. Devens, MA.

Carl was an avid sports fan who volunteered as a little league umpire in his younger days. Carl could be found glued to the tv for the Olympics (both summer and winter), Patriots, Celtics and his beloved Red Sox. He also followed most boxing and MMA/UFC matches, often watching multiple channels of various sports at the same time!

Carl loved music and ministering in song, most recently as part of the choir of the North Chelmsford Congregational Church. He had participated in church choirs from Massachusetts to Florida. Carl was a previous member of the Chelmsford Senior Center Chorus.

In 1995, Carl and his wife, Louise, became the first house parents for My Father's House, a ministry to pregnant and parenting teens created by LifeSaver Ministries of North Chelmsford, MA.
