ABRAMSKY, Joseph
Joseph Abramsky, originally from Kingston, passed away peacefully after a battle with pancreatic cancer, age 87. A graduate of Queen's University and Dalhousie University, Mr. Abramsky enjoyed classical music, history, poetry and literature, travel, excellent food and wine. He was an excellent pianist, composer, and a superb baker. He is survived by his wife, Betty Rae, his three sons, Michael, David and Daniel, their spouses, Randi, Joanie and Susan, as well as grandchildren Lauren, Jordan, Sam, Misha and Nathaniel. He will be dearly missed. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Shiva following the service at 201 Burbank Drive until 8:30 p.m., visits continue Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Queen's University, New Medical Building (Abramsky House).
