Wineva Stillman, 75 07/12/1934 ~ 06/12/2010 ENCINITAS -- Wineva Stillman passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 after a lengthy illness, with her loving, devoted husband and children at her side. She lived most of her life in north San Diego County and Brawley, Calif. She grew up on her parent's dairy "Rancho Del Mar" in Rancho Santa Fe, helping her mother feed the ranch hands living in the bunkhouse three meals a day. She rode her horse "Honey Girl" all over the countryside every chance she had. Wineva married her high school sweetheart Robert and together they raised three children. She worked with and managed Robert's dental practice in Brawley for 32 years before retiring in 1994 and moved back to where they were raised. Her greatest joy was spending time with and cooking for her family and friends. She cherished her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren and loved reading to them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Wineva is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Robert Stillman of Encinitas, Calif.; brother, Bill Haralson (Sue) of Arco, Idaho; children, Dr. Ronald Stillman (Debbie) of Brawley, Calif., Sue Stillman Rodrigues (Ron) of Rancho Murieta, Calif., Denise Stillman (Steve) of Ventura, Calif.; grandchildren, Timothy Stillman, Kattie Sue Stillman, Aaron Moran, Jill Harwood, Julie Medina, Ashley Rogers; nine great-grandchildren; and long time best friend, Joan Mote (Dan). She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lorene Haralson. Funeral arrangements will be private. Sign the Guest Book online obits.nctimes.com

For everyone who knew my Grandmother, I truley believe she is in a better place free from her many years of suffering. Her life will live on strong through all of our memories. She was a beautiful, and very generous lady, how pleased I am to be her grandaughter. I also wish to say that my Grandfather, Dr. Robert Stillman is the hardest working and most dedicated family man I have known, and he is every reason grandma kept hanging on. My condolences to my Mother, (Denise) Aunt Sue, Uncle Ron and Grandpa.

Aunt Sissy was one of a kind and she definitely brought an added spice to our lives. I'm so sorry for your loss. She and Bob were always so much fun to be around. It was always so great when you all came to the dairy in Dixon and then when you were able to make the trip to Arco a couple of times. Sissy was easy to talk with and I know she had a huge impact on Mike's life and he loved her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our deepest sympathy to the Stillman Family. She was a very sweet woman. Although, I had not seen her for many years, I do remember going to the office with my daughter, 40+ years ago, and she always made her feel so at ease. Ron, our prayers are with you, your dad and the entire family.
