Jason Wendell Konopka, 28, of Tunkhannock, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at home. Jason was born in Scranton, on Nov. 17, 1992, he is the son of Brian and Wendy Konopka. He graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School and was employed at Walmart in Tunkhannock. Jason always had a ready smile and was kind to all. He is survived by his parents: Brian and Wendy Konopka, Green Valley, Ariz.; grandmother, Diana Konopka, Nicholson; great aunt, Barbara Lukasewicz, Factoryville; aunts and uncles: Emily Titus of Factoryville, Adam Konopka of Springfield, Ore., Pamela Olsen of Nicholson, Kimberly and Joseph Hart of Bethlehem; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Adam Konopka, Wendell and Mildred Vail. Memorial donations may be made to your local food pantry or consider becoming an organ donor. Arrangements and care entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. A memorial service will be held in Jason's honor in 2021.
