Shawnna L. Hug, 53, of Lake Winola, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Tony F. Hug. Born in Maysville, Ky., on May 22, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Sandra Lee Harris Brigner. Shawnna was a graduate of Orresville High School, Ohio and served her country in the United States Navy. She enjoyed knitting and loved animals. Shawnna enjoyed riding horses and being part of the 4-H. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Ariel and Katelyn Hug; brother, Mike Brigner; sisters: Dianna Brigner and Patty Amstutz. Family and friends are invited to attend Shawnna's celebration of life service which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 4 p.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Pastor Nick McMichael presiding. A visitation will be held form 3 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Shawnna's name to the Wyoming County 4-H, 71 Hollowcrest Road, Suite 2, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
