Henry A. Farrar, 87, of Union Dale, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Forest City Nursing and Rehab. Born Aug 10, 1933, in Port Royal, he was the son of the late James and Ethel Race Farrar. Henry's wife is the former JoHan Fink. Hank graduated from Juniata Valley High School and attended Penn State University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was a math teacher at Tunkhannock Area High School. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and skier, and was a member of the Factoryville Sportsmen's Club. Preceded in death beside his parents are four sisters: Rhoda Hall, Jeanne Long, Ardyce McAfee, Loetta Kline; and a grandchild DJ Farrar. Surviving beside his wife is a twin brother Harry Farrar and his wife Anna Mae of Pittsburgh; two sons: Scott of Marietta, Ohio, and Union Dale, and Douglas and his wife Linda of North Wales; and four grandchildren. Service will be private and at the convenience of the family, arrangements by Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.
