Mr. Foos has been a favorite at Granville Veterinary Clinic for some time. His serenades, with a wonderful voice discovered late in life, were cherished moments for us. That we were being serenaded by a hero was partially known, but reading this summary lets us know that we were in the presence of greatness as his patient wife Barbara stood aside with a smile. God bless this special family, this wonderful wife and particularly the memory of this fine man. He will truly be missed here on Earth and God is enjoying his voice raised in rejoicing. This was a sweet, brave, uncommon hero of a man.

I can see Bob now standing behind the counter spinning that little piece of chain he always had in his hand, and trying to get the speckled gum ball for a free piece of candy. Oh what wonderful memories. Barb and Carol you are in our thoughts.

As a young girl growing up in Alexandria, Bob used to always sing "Tammy" to me, when I would come into his store. I used to be so embarrassed by that; however, now, I appreciate that wonderful memory he left me with. Bob was a wonderful man, and I am happy to say I was able to witness his singing in later years on a visit to Bob Evans. What a wonderful man Heaven has received! Rest in peace Bob Foos, and keep on singing your Heavenly songs!

Bob will surely be missed, my husband and I would eat breakfast at Bob Evans on Cherry Valley Road and he would go from table to table singing, to as he said, all the beautiful women.
