Lois E. Sigrist
Newark: A Funeral Mass for Lois Eileen Sigrist, 72, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 10:30 A.M., Monday, July 22, 2013, with Rev. JCP Sullivan, Parish Priest as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Lois died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on June 22, 1941 to the late Clarence and Mabel (Leasure) Science.
Lois was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was active with the Fruit of the Vine and was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Columbus Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Sigrist, of the home; her sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas M. Sigrist of Newark, and Dr. Stephen and Michelle Sigrist of Carrollton, Virginia; her grandchildren, Alex, Rachel, Xavier, and Giselle Sigrist; her sisters, Vivian McDermott of Grove City, and Anita Brown of Nashville, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call from 4-7 P.M., Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, Ohio.

Anita, so sorry for the loss of your sister. I remember Lois from coming into Big Bear when we both worked there and would sometimes see her when I was out and about. She was a nice lady.
