Forrest G. "Dick" Wilson

NEWARK: A graveside service for Forrest G. "Dick" Wilson, 91, of Newark, will be held will at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wilson passed away February 2, 2013, at the Inn at SharonBrooke. He was born October 26, 1921, in St. Louisville, Ohio to the late Archie and Hazel (Billman) Wilson.

He was a WWII veteran serving in the 2nd Air Force Battalion and was employed by Owens Corning Fiberglas where he retired in 1983 as a Welding Supervisor. He was a Member of the Masonic Lodge 97 of Newark and also a member of the 2nd Air Bourne Division.

He is survived by his sons, David (Pauline) Wilson of Perryton and James (Gloria) Wilson, of Hanover; grandchildren, Kimberly (Dana) Hall, Jason (Samantha) Wilson and Stephanie (Jarrod) Burden; great-grandchildren, Kehley and Tregg Hall and Caleb and Tanner Wilson, and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Elogeanne (Thompson) Wilson; brothers, Edwin and Lloyd Wilson and sisters, Esther Iden and Mary Evelyn Smith.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430, or to the 2nd Air Bourne Division, 8th Air Force, PO Box 484, Elkhorn, WY 53121-0484.
