Aileen "Midge" Binion

THORNVILLE: Aileen "Midge" Binion, 87, of Thornville, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at her residence.

She was born March 9, 1926 in Verda, KY. to the late Henry and Myrtle (Lewis) Warneke.

A Baptist by faith, Midge was a member of the OES #156. She retired from the Northern Local School District after 22 years of service as a bus driver. She enjoyed mystery movies, comedies, love stories, and traveling with her sisters-in-law. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her husband Raymond who preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Linda (Glen) Shaeffer; grandchildren, Tiffany Shaeffer, Brian (Tami) Shaeffer and Dustin Binion; her brother, Otis (Eddy) Warneke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Darryl R. "Randy" Binion and her sister, Hazel Bellew.

A funeral service, celebrating Midge's life, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St., with Pastor David Zandt officiating.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again at 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m.
