Barbara Buettner Tracy Alwood
FRANKFORT, KY: Funeral services for Barbara Buettner Tracy Alwood, 73, of Frankfort, KY were held March 7, 2014 at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home.
A native of Washington D.C. she was a floral designer and owner of Barb's Flowers in Frankfort and Newark, OH. She was a former member of Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, a Kentucky Colonel and member of First Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Ethel Modene Roberts Buettner, and was preceded in death by her sister, Marcia Ball.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 38 years, Virgil Alwood; daughters, Marcia (Gordon) Gemmell, Lawrenceburg and Cindy Tracy, Georgetown.
