HEATH: A funeral service for George "Larry" Brown (Brownie), 78, of Heath will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Payton officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Mr. Brown passed away on February 10, 2013 at Flint Ridge Nursing Home. He was born on January 28, 1935 to the late Fred and Margaret (Bringardner) Brown in Newark, OH.

He is survived by his son, Craig (Joan) Brown of Gahanna; daughters, Vicki (Andrew) Rauch of Newark and Saundra (David) Koppy of Pataskala; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Judy) Brown of Brownsville, TX and sister, Kay (Frank) Tomlinson of Newark.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Huntley and grandson, Shane Albaugh.

Mr. Brown was chief operator for the city of Heath Water Department and served as a volunteer fire fighter. He was a member of the Heath Masonic Lodge #771 and was a Cub Scout Pack Leader. He enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes. He also enjoyed music and Dodge Darts.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 PM and Wednesday 1 hour prior to funeral service at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the , 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, OH, 43017
