Emil Mosey, 91, lifelong resident of New Britain, passed away on April 20, 2021 just short of his 92nd birthday. Emil was the last living and youngest member of his family of six. He was an awesome father who was involved in his children's lives. He was friendly, outgoing, helpful to many, and everyone who he met loved him. He loved to tinker and fix things and had a great sense of humor. He served on the Parish Council and helped maintain the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection in New Britain.
He leaves his wife and partner of 67 years, Rose (Hovanesian) and loving children Adrienne Damian of New Britain, Diane Benson and husband Stuart of E. Longmeadow, Mass., Sheila Burr of Moodus, and Steven Mosey of New Britain.
He also leaves behind his granddaughters Diana Damian and husband Ramon Figueroa of Johnston, RI, Carlie Seamon of Moodus, and two great grandchildren, Lila Rose and Damian Figueroa who he loved with all his heart.
A graveside service will be held at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection or Wounded Warriors.

Uncle Emil was funny..caring...loving..and would give his shirt to anyone that needed it! The last time I saw him was at my Mom's (Barbara-Joe Moseys wife) memorial..he was so interested about my travels..living in Germany and Texas and I think it was the first time he met my children and my grandchildren..he couldn't stop saying how beautiful they were! He was an awesome Uncle along with my other uncles..RIP Uncle Emil ❤

I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Mosey. I remember him when I lived on Tremont St. and went to school with Steven. He was always such a kind person. My deepest condolences to the family. Robin (Basile) Washburn

I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband, dad, and grandfather. Emil was my favorite Uncle, full of jokes, always a smile and so helpful to my mom in her later years. We will all miss him dearly. My prayers are with him and his whole family.
