In Memoriam of Brad Quarrie Born in 1972 and raised in New Hamburg, ON, Brad had a wonderful, dry and funny wit even from an early age. He was loyal, talented, appreciated close friendships and the simple things in life. Parents, Bill and Avis, watched Brad's creativity and passions grow with each new interest; snow boarding, surfing, golfing, dirt biking, art/design and working with his hands. Graduating with a Graphic Design degree from Conestoga College, Brad moved to Toronto pursuing a successful career. Alongside his long time love and wife Micheline, they bought and renovated their century old home for their three daughters; Emily, Geneva and Agatha. In 2009, the family moved to the historic town of Lunenburg, NS. Brad was able to apply his passion for old world craftsmanship, fine quality restoration, architecture and carpentry to their mid-1800's home, while partnering in a successful business offering the same services. Sadly, after facing cancer head on with the strongest will for five and a half years with an outpouring of love and support from so many, Brad passed away at the all too young age of 47 on July 29, 2019, peacefully in his home with close friends and family by his side. Often people question what mark they will leave behind once they are gone but there's no doubt what Brad's was. In addition to how he touched so many lives, his incredible super-human attitude, strength, belief, dignity, grace and gratitude towards life, especially in the last few years... was nothing short of astonishing. Brad has left each of us a gift that we should embrace... Live your life no matter what it throws at you. Appreciate who and what you have. Believe in yourself. Never, EVER, give up, no matter what anyone says! Create many, many, wonderful moments and memories with those you love. You will forever be in our hearts Brad.
