James Doran Obituary
James was a Welder/Fabricator for Ericson MFG of Willoughby. Prior to that he was a patrolman for the Cleveland RTA. He was avid outdoorsman, golfer, and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Class of 1985.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Dorothy "Dodie" (King) Doran; step-son, Shelby (Patricia) Ashburn; grandson, Kellan Ashburn; mother, Joann Doran; sisters, Joyce (Robert) Cene, Jacquelyn (David) Cline and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding James in death is his father, James T. Doran and sister, Janice Neupert.
A funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland 44110.

It's with regret I send this condolence. I was Jim's counselor at Fitch. I always thought of him not only as a student but as a friend. Very sad to hear he passed. My best to his family and all his classmates. JSavage
