Edythe "Edy" Keller Obituary
Edythe “Edy” Keller, 83, of Wake Forest, passed away January 3, 2019.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Carl J. Giblin and Margaret Marleau Giblin.
She married the love of her life, Bob Keller, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Euclid, Ohio, where they were parishioners for 40 years. They were married 64 years before his passing in 2017. After retiring to Florida for 10 years, they relocated to North Carolina in 2006.
While she spent the majority of time raising her family, Edy also worked for TRW and Colony Mortgage (Cleveland), and in retirement was a hospital volunteer. She loved to travel, to watch the Cleveland Indians, and to feed the deer and birds in the yard. She cherished family and friends more than anything.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held January 8 at St. Catherine of Siena in Wake Forest followed by a luncheon at the church.
Mrs. Keller is survived by her children, Connie(Bob) Zupancic, Karen (Bill) Gilbert, and Tom (Debbie) Keller. She also leaves grandchildren, Kelly Andreas (Mike), Jim Zupancic (Chris), Eric Zupancic (Robyn), Lindsey Zeleny (Victor), Lauren Ritzert (Jen); Jesseca, Ally, and Holly Keller; great-grandchildren, Kara, Henry, and Brooke; sister, Ruth Drummond of Pueblo, CO; extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Carl B. Giblin and Edward Giblin.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Center.
