Helen Theresa Mosall (nee Scibana) age 92, beloved wife for 64 years of the late Harry; loving mother of Margaret "Peggy" Norsic (Martin), Patricia Sova (Steven) and Pamela Oschip (Harry); devoted grandmother of Michael, Rebecca and Daniel Norsic, Juliana Sova, David Sova (Loren), Harry Matthew Oschip (Jamie), Steven Sova (Ashley), Thomas Oschip (Christina), Jeffrey Sova (Sofia), Annamarie Alicea (Zach), the late Katherine Oschip and great-grandmother of 9; cherished daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina (nee Leonardi) Scibana; dearest sister of the following, all deceased: Frank (May), Jennie Michalski (Walter), Rosario, Mary Marcelli (Frank), Salvatore (Virginia), Vincent, Tom (Grace), and Joseph (Mary); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Helen was born on August 6, 1925 in Cleveland and passed away on March 10, 2018. She was a former resident of Highland Heights, Willowick and a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. Helen was very proud of her Sicilian heritage and was a member of The Little Italy Retirees. She was also a member of the Miraculous Medal Guild. Helen was very devoted to her entire extended family. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to the music of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Bocelli. Helen was always approachable and loved all children, especially babies. She was a warm, sweet person. Helen will be dearly missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 12021 Mayfield Rd,. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Helen at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Wednesday 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m.
