Wayne A. Snyder, age 71, of Willoughby, died Dec. 26, 2012, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born April 25, 1941, in Painesville to Buck and Irene (Loveland) Snyder, he had been a longtime area resident.
Wayne retired from Local 17 Iron Worker's Union in Cleveland.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine Haines of Eastlake; son, Nick of Mentor-on-the-Lake; sister, Carol (Bill) Zook of Mentor; brother, Larry of Wickliffe; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carolyn (Mucci) Snyder.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at the Eastlake Community Center, 600 E. 349th St., Eastlake.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Wayne. Wayne was 2 years ahead of me in school and I went to school with Larry in Willoughby Jr. My condolances go out to the family. May he R.I.P.
