LONGVIEW — Francis "Frank" Passalacqua, 63, of Longview, Texas, formerly of Seneca Falls, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at his residence.
Frank was born December 26, 1949, in Seneca Falls, N.Y. He was the son of the late Tony and Mary Passalacqua from Newark, N.Y. He had resided in Longview for 22 years, previously living in Corpus Christi, Waukegan, Ill., and Bethesda, Md. He served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years, from 1968 to 1989, and was a medical photographer and a fleet Marine forces (FMF) corpsman, serving in Oklahoma and various Navy hospitals before retiring.
Frank's love for family was very deep. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved cooking for his family and friends and also enjoyed the game of golf. Everyone was blessed by his amazing gift of photography, of which he had a business for 35 years. His wit and humor will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Kathy; children, Nicole Myles of Longview, Regina (Chris) Deslatte of Longview, Santino (Sherry) Passalacqua of Dallas, Christina (Craig) Little of Longview and Michael (Jessica) Passalacqua of Chattanooga, Tenn.; his grandchildren, K.D. and Kellie Myles of Longview, Aarron, Olivia and Sophie Deslatte of Longview, Tony and Cameron Little of Longview and Anthony Passalacqua of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sisters, Ann Marie (Steven) Vandemortel and Toni Marie (Chris) Avery of Newark, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a viewing from 6-8 p.m. today March 21, 2013, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday March 22, 2013, at Fellowship Bible Church, 4600 McCann Rd., Longview, Texas.
Memorial donations may be made to the Awana program at Fellowship Bible Church.
