Shipley of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Troy, MO, passed away with her loving husband and daughter by her side. Fran was a member
of VFW post 1590 for 45 years. She was three times past president of Auxiliary member of American Legion Post 120, Aux. member 3800 Eagles past president, and aux. past president of Port Orange Ladies Elks. She was a hairdresser for 46 years, waitress for 12 years, and a Tcheck office staff member for 7 years. She is survived by her husband Don Shipley, daughter Donna Violanti (Ted) of Ormond Beach, FL, sons, Mark Duncan (Vickie) of Amory, MS, David Duncan of Elsberry, MO, Granddaughter Christine Duncan of Palm Coast, granddaughter Miranda Duncan of Amory, MS, great-granddaughter, Mary Lee Duncan of Palm Coast, FL, nieces Roxanne Zidal (Adam) of Las Vegas, NV, Julie Dunn (Jon) of Springfield, MO, Nephews, Roger and Roy Charles Gazey, Mo, Randy Gazey of AZ and Chad Sweeza of MO, Larry Creech (Vickie) of Troy, MO, and Dougie and Nickie Bucher of Ofland, MO, Michael Alooco of Tampa, FL and many great nieces and nephews. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Ida Creech, sisters, Emma Averbeck, Ruby Duncan and Liz Alooco, and brother Arlie Creech, Jr. There will be a Celebration of Life service for Fran on May 21, 2016 at VFW post 1590, 1013 Veteran's Court, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 (Behind Taco Bell on Nova Rd.), at 3:00pm.
