James C. Swift
James C. Swift of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 12 at the age of 84. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he moved to Florida in 1959. Jim attended Ohio State University and served as Captain in the U. S. Army. He retired from banking after 40 years of service and was a former president of the New Smyrna Beach Rotary Club. He was an avid cyclist and race walker and participated in the Senior Olympics. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara; daughter, Ginny Morgan (Bruce) of Edgewater, FL; son, Brian Swift (Doris) of Edgewater, FL; daughter, Laura Grove (Marty) of Melbourne, FL; along with five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. www.brownliemaxwell.com.
