Memorial service for Susan A. Skowronsky, 52, Falling Tree Lane, Port Orange, who passed away at her residence Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, will be 4 p.m. Thursday, February 15, in the First United Methodist Church of Port Orange, with the Rev. Kim Joyner officiating. Miss Skowronsky was born in Peekskill, N.Y., and had lived here since 1980 coming from Basking Ridge, N.J. She was a speech pathologist for the Volusia County school system. She received her master's degree from William Paterson University, Wayne, N.J., in 1980. Miss Skowronsky was a member of the Volusia Teachers Organization, the Florida Speech and Hearing Association, the American Speech and Hearing Association, and the Canine Obedience Club of Daytona. She is survived by her mother, Emma Skowronsky, Basking Ridge; and her brother, Kenneth, and his wife, Linda Skowronsky, Washington, N.J.
