Tommy Eugene Milholen, 82, of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2012, at his home. Mr. Milholen was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Thomas L. and Myrtle E. Milholen. An Air Force Veteran for 23 years, Tom received many ribbons and medals over his distinguished career. He was a Master Mason with the Masonic Blue Lodge #270, where he had his 50 year certificate. Tommy was also a 32 degree member of the Scottish Rites, a Shriner with Bahia Temple in Orlando, and belonged to the local VFW lodge 1590, where he was a life member. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings. He is survived by three daughters, Linda Valdesere and husband, Art of Dover, DE, Diana Blaze of Daytona Beach, and JoAnn Milholen of Marrietta, GA; one sister, Mable M. Miller (Walter) of Matthews, NC; brothers William Milholen (Sallie) of Siler City, NC and Ernest Milholen (Sheri) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a dear friend and companion Marlene Kellington of Daytona Beach. Mr. Milholen will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asked donations be made to the Salvation Army, 1415 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, FL 32117.
