William A. "Bill" Elliott

William A."Bill" Elliott, 88, of Landers Street, Ormond Beach, passed away Tuesday evening, June 19, 2007, at Florida Hospital Oceanside. Born in Bryson City, N.C., to the late Henry and Alice Cline Elliott, he moved to this area in 1948 from Washington D.C. He was retired as an agent from the Peninsular Life Insurance. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Masonic Lodge #81, the VFW #1590, and Grace Lutheran Church, Ormond Beach. Bill was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie and Niccie; and two brothers, Ted and Buel. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Agnes; and many nieces and nephews, of whom he was very fond, both in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Kingsport, Tenn. Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside interment service on Thursday, June 28, at 10 a.m. in the Garden of Resurrection at Grace Lutheran Church, 338 Oceanshore Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32176. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund at the address above. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home.
