Buddy, you will always be a special memory in my mind; as a neighbor and a friend. You shared so many thoughts that I continue to remember. You were truly an amazing man that I am glad to have known for the 15 years that we lived next door to you and LeVaughn. A good man of devotion and love of God!

My name is Joe Burkhead and I first met Buddy when I was attending Lighthouse Christian Center and worked at Hampton's Drive In. I was at the radio station when I met him when I was sorta kinda forced in the room where they speak to listeners. I was nervous at first speaking on the air live but I let the HOLY SPIRIT speak through me while I gave my testimony of when I was saved. I received boldness that day. That was back in 1990. I love Buddy Tucker. Sadly I lost touch with him over the years.

Prayers for the family. I remember Buddy giving his testimony back in the early '60's at a Gospel Singing at Kilgore Baptist Church. I also listened to his radio shows on AM stations as a young person. God gave him a long life to spread the gospel.

Buddy was my neighbor and friend since 2000. I will always cherish the conversations and memories that we shared. He was a devoted man of God and never complained about his lack of sight. In my mind, he remains always happy, thankful and energetic--and never without a smile or positive word to everyone. I consider myself fortunate to have been a friend to such a good man. I will miss you! But, I know God called you Home and now you can see with new eyes all the beauty that you could not see on this earth. While my heart hurts, I know you are surrounded by music in Christ's everlasting arms of love.
