Danny J. Bruce, 62, of Springfield, MO passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
Danny enjoyed fishing, hunting and snow skiing. He retired from the US Army as a Chief Warrent Officer 4 in 1992 and worked as a Physician assistant at Skaggs Clinic in Kimberling city until 2007.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer L. Watts and a granddaughter Gillian.
Danny is survived by his parents Bill and Shirley Bruce; his wife of 43 years Betty; children Jason Bruce and wife Leslie and Christine K. Harris and husband Al; his brother Larry; grandkids Brandon, Hailey, Maddie, Jacob, Libby Grace, Jackson and Lucas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 9-10 a.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave Springfield, MO with services to follow at 10 a.m. Inurnment will be set at a later date at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in honor of Danny to The Broach Foundation for Brain Cancer Research 3703 Elmora Street Houston, TX 77005.

Through the years I continue to remember Danny as a great friend, mentor and occasional co-conspirator. Great times at Aviation Medicine Course, Ft. Rucker (where we first met) and then many years in Europe and stateside. He is missed!
