To the "sixtet's" from the "seventet"s" youngest, Dana (Ray) Lamberson here, so sad to hear that Miss Kathy passed away. I apologize for not being able to attend. Please accept my condolences. I often reflect upon our memories as Po'Folk kids just trying to live life and have fun in the process without spending a dime. ha! Miss Kathy was so kind and soft spoken, even "if"/"when" she did raise her voice it was something that "we all" did AND kept doing that she told us not to do and we did it anyway that resulted in us ALL lining up in front of her in the living room with the colorful carpet she crafted herself (I miss that carpet! Smile!). Usually, we all did something to little Jamie. Smile! Our family's went through some tough times together, but all the while were clever enough to have fun and enjoy life regardless of what circumstances were going on in and around all our lives. Family Friends forever! Please remember to embrace the precious moments of life which God and Time have been so gracious to give each one of us. Dana (Ray) Lamberson (Cedarbrook Apartments, Springfield, MO AND Republic, MO). Take special care of yourselves as you now walk in the wake of your gentle/kind mother's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you, Sandy, Steve, Lesa, Randy, Susie, and little Jamie. Keep those memories tucked away in the depths of your heart and mind. Dana

Aunt Kathy was one of a kind. Throughout her whole life she never gave up. When she was faced with adversity, things that would break most of us, she would crack a smile and face it head on. She loved her kids, her family, and her friends and would give her last dollar or share anything she had with anyone that needed it. The last few days she spent with us, were for us, she knew we weren't ready to say goodbye. We still aren't. But in her last selfless act she came back to tell all of us she loved us and to let us know it would be alright. Aunt Kathy, I love you and will always miss you.
