Cleo Nunn Obituary
Cleo Nunn

Niangua - 88, passed peacefully at home February 11, 2019. He was born January 28, 1931 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Wilmur C. and Dorothy (Terry) Nunn.

He quit school after the 8th grade to work and help his family. He joined the Army serving from 1951 to 1953. Cleo came home to find the love of his life, Murline Rogers. They were married July 14, 1956 and had 62 wonderful years.

Cleo worked for Hutchen Industries as a tool and die maker for 30 years. He also worked the farm raising cattle. We all looked forward to the corn, green beans and tomatoes he grew and shared with us. His passion was fishing with his buddy, Wayne Daily. His talent was woodworking and he made beautiful pieces to give to family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers in law, Chester Allen and Jerry Rogers; and grandson Andrew Nunn.

Cleo is survived by his wife, Murline; sons, Rick (Tressa), Tom (Terri); daughter, Cindy (Jon) Moore; grandsons, Rick and Ryan; granddaughter, Dani (whom he always called Dana); nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brother, Leo; and sister, Becky Allen, who made many trips to doctor appointments and set by his side at the hospital. Thank you. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including his family at Twilight Church, where he was a member.

Cleo was one of the "good ones" and will be missed by ALL who knew and loved him.

Thanks for taking such good care of us Daddy—you are forever in our hearts!
