Ozark - Dan Christopher McClain, 74, of Ozark, MO passed away on March 9, 2018. Dan is survived by his wife Mary of 52 years, daughter Dana McClain Lewis her husband Gary Lewis of Nixa, MO, daughter Christina McClain Griesemer her husband Chris Griesemer of Nixa, Mo, daughter Dawn Bernadette McClain of St. Paul, MN. Six grandchildren; Brandon Lewis of St. Louis, Mo, Ashleigh Lewis Nevels her husband Devin Nevels of Kansas City, MO Lexy McClain of Springfield, MO, Austin Lewis of Las Vegas, NV, Mitchell Griesemer of Nixa, MO, Lacy Griesemer, Nixa, MO. Brother James MacDonald his wife Elizabeth MacDonald of Ozark, Mo. Sister Kathy Crockett her husband Chris Crockett of San Diego, CA. Dan has several nieces and nephews and extended family as well. Dan was preceded in death by parents Mickey MacDonald and Marty MacDonald, brother Shannon McClain and sister Sheila McClain.
Dan was a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Ozark since 1979.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13th from 5-7pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Seminole, with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday March 14th, 11:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Ozark with Fr. Scott Sunnenberg presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springfield Catholic Schools or The Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau Seminarians.
