Donald E. Lambeth

Ozark - On Friday, April 2, 2021, Donald Eugene Lambeth, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 92.

Don was born on August 14, 1928 in Garrison, Missouri, to Jack and Agnes Lambeth. On January 22, 1952, he was united in marriage to Hazel Belle Parks, in Columbus, Georgia. She preceded him in death on November 3, 2014. Sadly, both were preceded in death by their eldest daughter, Debra Lambeth Ballard in 2007.

Don is survived by his youngest daughter, Rhonda Garrett and husband Craig of Ozark; a granddaughter, Michella Ballard Vaughan and husband Kevin of Naples, FL; a son-in-law, Mike Ballard and wife Carol of Fordland; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in January of 1953, Don spent many years as a pattern maker for Rayco Manufacturing. While working at Rayco, he was also operating a small family farm near Rogersville, MO with Hazel and their girls. After selling the farm, Don was the Foreman for Buena Vista Ranch before joining and later retiring from Lilly-Tulip in Springfield. He and Hazel spent a number of great years in Harlingen, TX before returning to the Ozarks in the early 2000s.

After the passing of his wife, Don enjoyed gardening at his home in Ozark and spent much of his time fishing, camping and boating at Stockton Lake.

Graveside funeral services, with full military honors, will be held on Friday, April 9th 2021 at 4:00 pm at West Finley Cemetery, south of Fordland, under the care of J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home of Rogersville.
