Sandra Ann Cavener

Crane - Sandra Ann Cavener, Crane, Missouri went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2018 after a 18 years battle with Parkinson's Disease. Sandra was born May 4, 1936 at Springfield, Missouri to Milton O. and Betty Steele Hall.

Sandra graduated Salutatorian from Hurley High School in the class of 1954. She attended Southwest Missouri State University. On November 25, 1955 she married Ray Cavener and made their home on the farm north of Crane for over 60 years. Sandra loved anything to do with horses, especially barrel horses. She enjoyed helping Ray on their farm taking care of the cows, dogs, chickens and her peacocks.

Sandra worked for many years at the Springfield Stockyards and was a member of the Crane Presbyterian church. She was a 50 plus year member of the Republic Order of the Eastern Star. Sandra had helped start the Spring Creek Saddle Club at Hurley, Missouri and remained until her health no longer permitted.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Katie Hall Werner.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years Ray; daughter, Jane Crabb and husband Bill brother, Mit Hall and wife Helen and a sister, Jean Hall.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Crane Presbyterian Church Crane, Missouri.

Arrangement are under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri.
