John Bradford with Zoo Explorers - 1992

John was a wonderful role model. I was a zoo explorer when I was in high school over 20 years ago. John was a kind, gentle man who taught me so much about working with animals. I loved his smile and joking personality. I will always be thankful for the awesome experiences I had as a zoo explorer. John was a very important part of those experiences and I am blessed to have known him.

John was a friend and colleague. He will live on in the hearts and memories of his many friends... Peace my friend. You will be missed.

Still very speechless. It doesn't seem possible I met you almost 20 years ago as a young 8th grader, so eager to learn about the zoo. Thank you for being you. Rest in peace my friend.
