I have known Inez and Joe for 20 years as a Nichols family friend, but I didn't really get to know Inez until I moved to Springfield a year and a 1/2 ago. I have been blessed and honored to become real friends with Inez through this hard and arduous journey through her illness. Inez was a wonderful gift, a treasure God gave me I didn't see coming. She taught me so much about courage and long suffering. About quiet endurance through insurmountable sorrow and struggle. She taught me how to be a better person.
I will never forget you, my courageous and wise little friend. I love you, Inie.
