Donna Jean (Zuck) Tidmore
Donna Jean (Zuck) Tidmore peacefully departed this life on April 6, 2016 at the age of 90 years and 7 months old. She had been a resident at the James River Care Center during a short illness.
Donna Jean was born September 6 1925 to Edgar Howard Zuck and Bernice Evelyn English in Clark, South Dakota, spending her childhood in Hamburg, Iowa and Long Beach, California. She received her nursing degree from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri as part of the Cadet Nurse Corp in 1947. Her nursing career was spent primarily as a private duty nurse. She later enjoyed a successful career as a Real Estate Agent in the Springfield MO area with the Dorrell T. Hanks Agency.
She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Krebs on January 3, 1948 and was blessed with 2 sons. She was later married to Monty F. Tidmore and resided in Salem, Oregon for many years.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Zuck and Bernice English, Charles Edward Krebs, Monty F. Tidmore and her sister, Eva Jayne Hayes of La Porte, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Kent Krebs of Las Vegas, NV; Philip Charles Krebs and wife, Phyllis Ann, of Springfield, MO; 2 sisters, Patsy Ann Hoover of Chandler, OK and Betty Zuck of Santa Barbara, California; 2 brothers, Charles M. Miller (Judy) of York, NE and Cecil Brice Miller (Janice), of Cawker City, KS; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 12 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2200 W. Republic Road, Springfield, MO 65810 at 10 am, under direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. No formal visitation is planned. Interment will be in Salem, Oregon at a later date, following cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
