Wilbur McCullough, son of DeForrest and Elsie Boggs McCullough, was born on a farm in Miller City, Ohio on May 11, 1923. He graduated from Palmer High School in 1940 and the entered the armed services. He served from 1943 until 1945. He fought in 5 major campaigns; Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe-Battle of the Bulge and Ardennes. Webb was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery in the Battle of the Bulge.

In 1953 he was united in marriage to Eloise M Ellerbrock. He worked for Rusco Ind. at Meadville, PA for 37 years. He was General Manager of H.G.P. Industries in Miami, FL for 7 years. He also worked for Shells N Things, contract Post Office in Bonita Springs for 2 years, and Best Western Beach Resort at Ft. Myers Beach for 12 years.

Webb passed away on February 18, 2011 at 87 years of age. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and John.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife Eloise; children, Jeffrey (Chris) McCullough and Lana (Daniel) Mesley of Meadville, PA , and Jim McCullough of Sylva, NC; grandchildren, Joe, Alex and Laura Mesley; and one sister, Vera Ruth (Ray) Erford.

Visitation will be held at the Hodges Funeral Home in Naples Tuesday, February 22 from 5-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Ascension in Ft. Myers Beach at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 23. Entombment will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens in Naples.
