Obituary

Joan Tirelli, 70, of Fort Myers, FL formerly of Canton, OH died Friday, February 24, 2006 under the care of Hospice. She was born to the late Joseph A. and Beulah K. (nee; Derby) Born, in Canton, Ohio, on March 4, 1934. She receiving her masters in education and continued her education as a teacher for 40 years. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, Phi Delta Kappa, American Business Women's Association, Retired Teachers of Lee County, Teachers Association of Lee County and Garden Club. Joan loved sewing, reading mystery novels, and just being granny.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Nicola Tirelli; daughters, Terry Jo Vixler Tinquist and her husband Davin and Audria Vixler Fischer and her husband Johnnie; son, Nelson Vixler, III and his wife Shannen; ten grandkids, Jeremy Tinquist, Afton Tinquist, Johanna Fischer, Audria Fischer, Johnathan Fischer, Alexander Fischer, Devin Vixler, Lance Vixler, Cameron Vixler and Chance Vixler.

She was preceded in death by her first of husband of 20 years, Nelson Vixler, Jr.

Memorial gifts may be made to Hope Hospice at Shell Point, C/O the Legacy Foundation at Shell Point, 15010 Shell Point Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33908

Memorial Service will conducted on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at the Peace Lutheran Church, 15840 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers. Final rest with in the Gulf Of Mexico.

Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Homes and Crematory of Fort Myers, has been entrusted with Joan's arrangements.
