Charles Yaider Obituary

Charles R. Yaider, 65, of Carpendale, W. Va., died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, at his home. Born Feb. 4, 1937, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Henry and Alice Yaider. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Young. Mr. Yaider was a retired plumber in the Manassas area and formerly a volunteer fireman. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed woodworking and crafts. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Virginia Yaider; two daughters, Dana Shrout and husband, Randy, and Kimberly Yaider, all of Manassas; two sisters, Sue Robinson and husband, Paul, Pa., and Judy Layman and husband, Ronnie, of Mason Road, Cumberland; one granddaughter, Jennifer Shrout, Manassas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Bernard Yost officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
