I remember walking to school with a John to PS114 when we were teenagers. His cousin Vera & I were schoolmates.

I just had a dream last night about Dr. Lastorino. He was a very nice man that always had a smile and a good disposition. As a kid and then a teenager, I looked up to him. A great neighborhood and family friend that had his dental practice on the corner of Remsen and Glenwood roads. I lived just small block away from his practice on 89th street in Canarsie, Brooklyn

Dr. Lastorino was my family dentist, when I was a young girl living in Canarsie. I attended PS 114. I would walk across the street to his office. My father, Phil was his father in law, Phil's, best friend. I remember Dr. Lastorino's caring and gentile manner. May he rest in peace.
