Recently rented a house on Fire Island. On the wall were beautiful pictures signed by Chrisy Edwards. I was so taken by them that I immediately attempted to access her website to see where they were available for purchase. Sadly, my search came up with an obituary for this wonderfully talented artist who was taken from this world way too soon. I send my condolences and prayers to the Edwards/Potter family. She will live on forever through her wonderful works of art.

I have 2 pictures of Fire Island Christie painted. They are hanging in my office and I have had them for about 20 years, maybe more. It seems to me Christie would have a showing of her paintings in her home the day after Thanksgiving and they were for sale. I went with my Mother, who has passed, and bought 2. They have given me great pleasure over the years. I hope these recollections are accurate.
I am so very sorry she has passed. What a loss to her family and friends. She will live on, not only in memory, but through her beautiful paintings that I am sure are hanging in many homes on Long Island and elsewhere.
My sincere condolences.
