SHAMOKIN - Elizabeth M. "Bette" Wojciechowski, 83, of Trevorton Road, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Coal Township.

Bette was born May 3, 1937, in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Wyda) Sabotchick.

She was a 1956 graduate of Coal Township High School.

Bette was married Oct. 25, 1958, in St. Mary's Church, Shamokin, to Eugene J. Wojchiechowski, who survives.

She was a seamstress at Shelley Ann Mills and Kulpmont Garment factories before retiring in 2000.

She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church and the Fairview Fire Co. auxiliary.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Joan Witcoski, of Lewisburg; a grandson, Kyle Witcoski, of Lewisburg; and two nieces, Terry Schicchitano and Aldene Brehm.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Sabotchick.

WOJCIECHOWSKI - Elizabeth M. "Bette" Wojciechowski, 83, of Trevorton Road, Shamokin. Due to the COVID restrictions, a private viewing and funeral Mass will be held. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Arrangements are by the Olley-Gotlob Funeral Home, 539 Race St., Sunbury.

Eugene, i am soo sorry to hear of Bettes passing. She will be missed. Mary Jane (Nezerski) Toccket, Violette Feudales sister. God bless and she will be missed and may she R.I.P.
