FOUNTAIN SPRINGS - John M. Comarnisky, 66, of Fountain Springs, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, in Gilberton, Schuylkill County.

He was born Sept. 15, 1954, a son of the late Michael and Agatha (Hieble) Comarnisky.

John was a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and Bloomsburg State College.

He was employed as a science teacher for the Schuylkill Haven Area School District until his retirement.

John was of the Catholic faith.

He enjoyed hunting and walking.

Surviving are a brother, Edward Comarnisky, of Shamokin; and numerous cousins.
