MONTOURSVILLE - Nancy Carole Madden, 78, of 2725 Four Mile Drive, and formerly of 1503 W. Willow St., Coal Township, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at Hillside Assisted Living.
She was born in Shamokin, June 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Charles Melvin Erdman, and Ethel Marie Schleig, who survives.
She graduated from the School of Library Medicine as a histology technician in 1988, at the age of 46.
She was first employed as a phlebotomist at the Sunbury Hospital and later was employed at Geisinger, Danville, as a histology technician.
She attended services at Grace Chapel, in Overlook.
Nancy was always available to anyone in her family. Her family was her primary focus throughout her life.
Nancy is survived by her children, Tammy Krankoski, of Elysburg, David Madden and his wife, Anna, of Florida, and Scott Madden and his wife, Sue Kline; grandchildren, Elise Krankoski, of Newport Beach, California, Zachary, Chantel and Adrianna Madden and Jacob, Joshua and Joseph Madden; a great-granddaughter born to Jacob Madden, Amaranth; a sister, Jennifer Woland and her husband, Bill, and their children, Bryce, Hayden and Maura; and a brother, Terry Erdman and his wife, Michelle, and their children, Michael, Meaghan and Timothy.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Ronald, Dennis and Kenny, in infancy.
Service and burial will be private for the immediate family.
