Thelma Hubler Obituary
Born on Dec. 27, 1936, in Pine Grove Township, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Elizabeth Zerbe.
Thelma was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. She was the captain of Hubler's Car Wash Team in the Admiral Bowling League and had been a member of the former Mary E. Moore Chapter 372 Order of the Eastern Star, Pine Grove.
Preceding her in death were five sisters, Dorothy Nagle, Emma Kohr, Clara Schierer, Irene Anspach and Carrie Zimmerman; and four brothers, Harry Zerbe, Robert Zerbe, Cleveland "Batch" Zerbe and Melvin Fidler.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Harvey D. Hubler; a daughter, Elaine and her husband, James Quinn, Branchdale; a son, Allen Hubler, Pine Grove; two grandsons, Francis Quinn and Michael Quinn; a sister, Mabel Umbenhauer, Tremont; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 15, at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Dr. Richard Schoenleber officiating. Interment was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. The family would prefer donations be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963.

Harvey, Allen, and Elaine....my girls and I would like to extend our deepenst sympathies for your loss. She always had a smile for us when we would see her, we will miss that. She was a wonderful woman!!! Even though its been many years since my girls and I have been your neighbor...Harvey you and Thelma were thought about often, and still always our neighbor! Hang in there...your family is in our prayers!!!

Growing up with Thelma so close to me was something that I got used to. I used to love going down and talking to them, or stopping with her and Harvey when I was riding bike. Her family is in my thoughts.
