Swoope - Dolores Tullos Casiday, 82, died Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Born January 10, 1939 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Agnes (Harris) and Daniel Nevil Tullos. Prior to retirement she was employed by Intelsat/Comsat and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Linwood Joseph Lancaster II; and a brother, Preston Tullos. Surviving are her husband, Philip Casiday; four children, Shelley McCue and husband Tony of Georgia, Pamela Jo Lancaster of Swoope, Linwood J. Lancaster III and wife Angelyn of Charleston, W.Va., and Michael Joseph Lancaster and wife Becky of Swoope; five grandchildren, Anthony McCue, Corey McCue, Brittany Lancaster, Michael J. Lancaster Jr. and Morgan Granier; and ten great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 23 in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lester Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.

Social-distancing and mask-wearing protocols will be observed at all events in accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines.
