Loved you, your singing, your cheeky grin and everything about you in the 70's was never allowed to go to a concert in case I got crushed in the hysteria. Was planning to finally get to a concert in September but sadly that won't happen now. You made The Rollers and they'd never have been so big it without you. Rest in eternal peace Les, you will never be forgotten. The world has lost a very special person. xx

What can I say....... you have been part of my life for so long. As a teenager with your posters on my bedroom wall. Then lucky enough to meet you a couple of times backstage at Bognor and Doncaster. And my children have grown up singing along to your songs . Most recently, so pleased I got to see you again in Bedford in November 2019 - still can't believe that will be the last time. Will keep singing along to all the BCR songs and will always REMEMBER you. Thinking of your family at this sad time.

I celebrated my 60th birthday on 21st April.. . Lockdown stopped us going away.. my daughter organised a bay city roller themed day in her garden as I've been a life long Les fan. I had bay city roller cake. . T. Shirts. And a screen set up for concert in the garden. I even had actual tickets... my daughter had contacted Les in March to ask if he could do video on the day.. he said he would call.. my daughter kept whole day a surprise. She couldn't get hold of Les day before. And now we know why .... we celebrated on 21st not knowing..
It was a wonderful night and every bit was happy because of Les and my love for rollers.
Next day we all heard the sad news.
He was an amazing man and brought happiness to my life.
Everyone who knows me will know shang a lang !!
Sending all my love to Les family.
Remember !!! He has brought happiness to millions and will never be forgotten ❤
