Staunton - Lillie Virginia (Powell) Cobb, 88, wife of Vivian H. "Skeeter" Cobb, of 108 William Cousins Road, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Cobb was born on January 30, 1930 in Bells Valley, Virginia, a daughter of the late Clain A. Sr. and Ida May (Patterson) Powell.

Lillie was a member of the Faith Christian Church and retried from Genesco and Tommy's manufacturing. She was a lifetime member of the Swoope Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and an avid Bingo Player.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.

Surviving in addition to her husband of sixty-four years, are two sons, Douglas Harmon Cobb and his wife Penny and Darrell Odell Cobb and his wife Mary all of Staunton; three daughters, Mildred N. Ramsey and her husband Tex of Staunton, Debra S. Wiseman of North Carolina, and Gail D. Moran and her husband Ricky of Staunton; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; a brother, Clain Allen Powell, Jr. and wife Edith of Bells Valley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Gerald Moore.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
