Ashley Michelle Dunbar

1994 - 2021

A beloved, granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Ashley Michelle Dunbar left this world unexpectedly at age 26 on Feb. 15, 2021. Born to Dave and Joanne Dunbar on Feb. 28, 1994, Ashley was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile and laugh that could light up your soul.
She loved the outdoors; sitting outside, and going fishing and shooting. She enjoyed camping, sitting by the fire with her family and friends, laughing and telling stories. She could spend hours staring at the stars and northern lights, just dreaming.
The relationship she had with her siblings was not like any other. Ashley was a wonderful big sister who taught them many life lessons. She always had their back. Whenever she was near, her siblings faces would light up, and time would just be lost.
Even at the end, she continued to give. She graciously donated herself so that others in need may live. This gentle loving, caring and wonderful woman has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ashley was preceded in death by her mom, Joanne Dunbar (Fuller), and grandmother, Charlotte Dunbar.
She leaves behind her parents, Dave and Joni Dunbar; older brothers, Michael Henderson and Ridge Henderson; younger sister, Jordan Owen; younger brothers, Trevor Owen, Connor Simonye and Jaylen Dunbar; grandparents, David Dunbar of Wahpeton, North Dakota, and Jerome and Luningning Fuller of Lewiston, Washington; Aunt Lacie Martinson of Wahpaton; Uncle and Aunt Jerry and Sherry Fuller, Tim and Sarah Fuller, and Jack and Linda Fuller, all of Lewiston; cousins, Sandra, Dakota, Bell, Liberty and Odin Martinson, all of Wahpeton; and cousins, Jordan, Tanis, John and Jackson Fuller, all of Lewiston.
Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2982 Davis Road.
