James Roland Fickus was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Dorothy A. Vesper (James) and Frank R. Fickus on Jan. 4, 1959.
At 62 years old, he left this world in the afternoon on Jan. 12, 2021, leaving his sister Sharon K. Fifer and niece/sister Cassandra S.A. Fickus, and many more loved ones. But he is with his sister, Annette Fickus, and brother, Thomas Fickus, and step-dad, William E. Vesper. His wishes are to be cremated and laid to rest next to his dad, Frank Fickus, on Birch Hill Cemetery.
In May we will gather family and friends to have a celebration of life for him. Our dear Jim will be greatly missed by all who loved him forever ... A further obituary will be at that time as well ... sincerely, the Fifer and Fickus family.
