Johnny Frank, 63, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 5, 2021. Johnny lived proudly in Venetie all his life. He was a happy and fun guy, always laughing. He took pride in his community and could always be found cleaning the village by picking up trash. He loved gospel singing, going to Big Lake for duck hunting and always attended community events and meetings. He was the pride and joy of his parents and siblings.
He leaves behind his siblings Hannah (Greg) Bundschuh, Caroline (Andy) Haley, Albert Frank, Orin Frank, Jimmy (Karen) Frank, Marilyn (Floyd) Mayfield, Jean (Calvin) Tritt, Robert Frank and Amos Frank and many Nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel and Annie Frank, siblings Stanley Frank, Dinah Frank, Nancy James, and Clifton Frank.
A visitation will be held, Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, from noon to 2 p.m. at Fairbanks Funeral Home, 3704 Erickson Ave., Fairbanks. Please wear masks and follow strict COVID guidelines.
Saturday, Jan. 16, charter will leave Fairbanks at 2 p.m. to bring Johnny home to Venetie for final service and burial officiated by Rev Margo Simple.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fairbanks Funeral Home.
